Why I am a judge for cats:
First reason – curiosity – and then because i am very interested in cats – but the main reason is my sweet wife Hildegard. She wanted to own a cat – and to our
10. wedding day I made her a NFO as a present. (Her Name was „Mausi“ ) And
what can you do – as a man on a cat-show –- accompanied by wife and daughter?
Either you are just sitting arround, feeling boring – or, as I did – look arround and analyse what the most important job on a Cat-Show is. So on my first Cat-Show i decided to become a cat-judge. But it took years to make it reality – but in 1999 i fullfilled a dream of my youth: Even when i was 8 years old i wanted to become a judge for rabbits. Maybe this is the reason, why I prefere big ears on Norvegian Forestcats on our „Dachhasen“ (in Germany a cat is named: Dachhase – means Roofrabbit)
We are breeding NFO's for more than 18 years now – and the first registry was in „Deutsche Edelkatze“.
And today I am an All-Breed-Juge: loving cats, having fun on all arround the judging and enjoying travelling.
